This is a master list of websites where contributors have promoted their content in the past.  Posting one link on a variety of websites, instead of concentrating on just one website, yields better results with Google and page views.  You should start to see results in a few weeks, although it can occur earlier than that.

Make sure to abide by the website’s individual rules and guidelines before using it to promote your articles or links, however.
