Don’t underestimate your worth. Online freelance writers have a plethora of skills–marketing, social media, web design skills–that many traditional freelance writers don’t have. Pimp out these skills to improve your monthly money-making revenue. Remember, your skills are worth money, and people are willing to pay for it (even the skills you don’t think are marketable).

1. Start a niche blog. Update it often, include related advertisements, and take advantage of sponsored blog posts.

2. Email or call companies and offer to do a product review in exchange for a free product. Place the review on a website that pay for reviews, such as Associated Content or Bright Hub.

3. Join Associated Content and post evergreen-type articles on a weekly or daily basis.

4. Take the same articles from Associated Content, rewrite it, and post it on revenue share websites, such as Examiner.com and Bukisa.

5. Sell rejected articles on DailyArticle or Constant Content.

6. Specialize in a niche–your expertise is worth more to clients.

7. Write an eBook about your niche. Market the book by getting a Twitter page, starting a Facebook fan page, and giving your book its own website.
