Want to submit an ad to Writing Job Resource? Want to let everybody know you’re looking for writers for your next project?

I can post your advertisement on WJR, no strings attached.  I also will not charge to post your ad, unlike other websites.  I do need to verify the post is legitimate though, and pays fairly.  I will not post any ads containing the following:

• Jobs with no payment.  I will not accept jobs that promise to only give writers a byline or “recognition with a famous website”.  If you’re a famous website, you can afford to pay writers fairly.

• Jobs with poor pay.  One buck jobs for 600 words your thing?  Sorry, not acceptable here.  No one can survive on a buck an hour income.

• Jobs that discriminate by race, sex, or country.  A person’s race, gender, or native country does not limit how well they write, unless English is not their first language.  Please don’t discriminate.

Does your job pass these no nos?  Good!  Contact me and I’ll post your ad.

To submit your ad, send me an email with the subject line “Submit an Ad” and the following information:

• Your website

• Contact information, such as an email address or phone number

• Description of the job/gig opening

• How much it pays

NOTE: This is for people looking to hire bloggers or freelance writers, not the other way around.  I am planning to set up a “portal” for writers looking for work in the future (think of it as Elance, but without the additional fees and hassle).  I cannot post any ads for writers looking for work right now, though.  If you want to be considered for the portal, feel free to send me your information, but I cannot post any ads regarding that.  Sorry!
